Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort: First stay. IPA ale was very good and reasonably priced. The hotel expansion is beautiful with decor that highlights the native American culture - very nice. This review is based upon my most recent experience staying in the brand new Cherokee Tower (aka Tower 4). They have a wonderful selection of brews. Ive been to Harrahs Cherokee Resort/Casino several times and wrote a previous review.
Pam my server was attentive and friendly. Plank Salmon with brocolini was fabulous! Cous cous was a bit undercooked, but when your hungry, everything tastes good. Unfortunately, a power failure hosed up Brio’s computers and they were unable to seat anyone. I went to Brio and the expected wait time was 20 minutes. I was unable to find an available reservation online using Open Table. No smoking in the casino is definitely a breath of fresh air! Having dinner was challenging. Masks are required but very little social distancing. the casino is very large and was quite crowded. View was terrible, but what do you expect for a comp. The Museum of the Cherokee Indian is a must see if visiting the area, especially if losing too much money gambling! Also go to one of the bonfires during the week.
